Marine coatings undergo harsh conditions being constantly underwater and inundated with salt. A properly applied system of zinc or epoxy can ensure the longevity of the substrate. Rust corrosion and salt corrosion protection can be enhanced with a high performance marine coating system.
- Primer: Chem-O-Gard DTS (Does not require topcoat)or Chem-O-Z Organic Zinc Rich Primer
- Midcoat: Chem-O-Pon™ Mastic Primer
- Topcoat: Acrylithane™ HS Urethane Enamel
These products also have other options within the coating class that can be substituted in the case of VOC requirements.
Please note that these coatings do not possess anti-fouling agents for long-term salt-water immersion. We largely only recommend these products for recreational use where the object is not kept in salt water for extended periods of time.
