Industrial primers are essential to protecting the material being coated. They also ensure that the following layers of paint will properly adhere to the surface.

Primers help protect against salt, chemicals, and oxidation. Different primers offer different levels of protection, specialized adhesion properties, and/or accelerated dry-times. Available as 2-part epoxy primer or 1-part primer paint.
